BE WARY
of a vendor who is more concerned about
their own
personal, artistic vision, rather than the art,
beauty and effort that have already gone into designing
your wedding day.
Remember, all of your vendors, work for you.
BE WARY
of
photographers/videographers who have an
obtrusive
shooting style.
We always tell clients, “It’s okay
if a photographer ends up in the video, but you don’t
want the videographer in your formal photos.”
This is your day not ours.
BE WARY
of wireless microphones.
For many videographers, this is a bragging point;
however, wireless mics show that someone may not truly
understand the nuances of wedding videography.
Sure, wireless mics might be used in certain
situations.
BLB Media will never put a wireless mic on a bride or
groom – we may unobtrusively conceal a wireless mic in a
location to get the best sound quality possible.
Typically, high quality microphones and the proper use
of sound systems will make for the highest quality audio
possible.
WATCH
OUT for
videographers who boast about their
“handheld” camera
techniques.
Even with modern cameras, handheld makes for
bouncy, novice productions.
Choose a videographer who uses tripods.
Handheld shooters are often more of a distraction and
lack a true in-depth understanding of equipment and
composition.
BE WARY
of
videographers who claim that
only doing
weddings
is a good thing.
Experience is a good thing; however, video
production professionals should be experienced and
educated in their field to keep up with current trends,
styles and technologies.
BLB Media’s cornerstone has been wedding
production for many years.
During that time, BLB Media’s owner has also
worked with clients such as Acura, MGM/United Artists,
the LA Fashion Show and many others.
